License Overview
LoopHive provides creator-owned audio loops that can be licensed under different license types. Each loop clearly displays which licenses are available before download or purchase. All licenses are non-exclusive and royalty-free unless explicitly stated otherwise. The creator always retains full ownership of the original audio file.
License Types
Personal (Free)
The Personal license allows you to:
- Use the loop for private use
- Create demos, sketches, practice projects and personal learning content
The Personal license does not allow:
- Commercial release
- Monetization of music, videos or other content using the loop
Pro (Paid)
The Pro license allows you to:
- Use the loop in commercial music releases
- Use the loop in monetized video, streaming and social media content
- Distribute finished productions containing the loop
The Pro license does not allow:
- Redistribution of the loop as a standalone file
- Resale, re-upload or sharing of the original audio
Split (Royalty Split)
The Split license allows you to:
- Use the loop in commercial releases
Revenue from the released work must be split between the creator and the licensee as agreed outside of LoopHive. Unless otherwise stated, LoopHive does not manage royalty accounting or payments for split licenses.
Ownership
All loops on LoopHive remain the property of the original creator. You receive a license to use the audio — not ownership of the audio file itself.
Prohibited Use
You may not:
- Re-upload, resell or distribute the loop as audio files
- Include loops in sample packs, sound libraries or competing services
- Share the original files with others
- Claim ownership or authorship of the original recording
Derivative Works
You may freely modify, edit, process and transform the loop inside your own productions. However, your work must be a genuine musical or audiovisual production and not a substitute for the original loop.
Rights Confirmation by Creators
Creators uploading content to LoopHive confirm that:
- They own the rights to the uploaded audio
- The audio does not contain copyrighted material they do not have permission to use
LoopHive may remove content that violates these rules.
License Availability
Not all license types may be available for all loops. The available licenses are displayed on each loop page.
Beta Notice
During beta, some license types may be temporarily unavailable. LoopHive may update or adjust licensing features during the beta period.
Enforcement & Termination
LoopHive may suspend or terminate access to licenses and accounts in case of:
- License abuse
- Fraud
- Copyright violations
- Platform misuse
